Dunbar (/dʌnˈbɑːr/ (listen)) is a town upon the North Sea coast in East Lothian in the south-east of Scotland, approximately 30 miles (48 km) east of Edinburgh and 30 miles (48 km) from the English attach north of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
